T-Rex Would Still Be Here

Dinosaurs ruled the earth
For million years they say
But why did things reverse
Why did they have to fade away
I’ve got my own opinion
The answer you may wish to hear
Global warming did them in then
And the reason now is plainly clear

T-Rex loved central heating
He liked to drive his car around instead of run
He liked to cook what he was eating
And every summer he would hop a jet and fly to the sun
He liked use electric for the good things in life
And energy was never very dear
Till eventually the earth got overheated and fried
Or Tyrannosaurus Rex would still be here

When they saw the climate changing
They said we’ll stop it if we can
They read the science and called a meeting
To try and come up with a carbon cutting plan
But dinosaurs were stubborn reptiles
T-Rex would simply not agree
He wouldn’t change his greedy life style
And the rest of course is history
